The Moto Z2 Play has a global score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows's 72.1 score. Although the Moto Z2 Play and Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows were released only 8 months apart, the Moto Z2 Play is just a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner. Motorola Moto Z2 Play has a bit superior CPU than Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play also has a larger number of cores (and faster).
Moto Z2 Play features a screen that is very similar to the Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows one, they have the same display density, a screen of the same size and exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 1920. The Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows shoots slightly better videos and photos than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a way smaller camera aperture which is worse for capturing pictures or videos in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows also counts with a way more mega-pixels back camera.
The Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Motorola Moto Z2 Play's battery life is just as good as the Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows one.
