The LG G Flex 2 has a score of 75.2, which is much better than the Alcatel Idol 5S's 67.8 overall score. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android operating system, but the LG G Flex 2 has the previous 5.0 version while Alcatel Idol 5S has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Even being the best in this review, we must note that it's also a notably older, just a bit heavier and thicker cellphone.
LG G Flex 2 has a bit better CPU than Alcatel Idol 5S, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core CPU, the LG G Flex 2 also has a 64-bit CPU and a graphics processor. The LG G Flex 2 counts with a much better screen than Alcatel Idol 5S, because although it has a little worse pixel count per inch of display, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the LG G Flex 2 also counts with a bit bigger screen.
Alcatel Idol 5S has a way bigger memory for applications and games than LG G Flex 2, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Alcatel Idol 5S also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The LG G Flex 2 has a little better battery duration than Alcatel Idol 5S, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2620mAh.
Alcatel Idol 5S shoots just a bit better videos and photos than LG G Flex 2, although it has a lot worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a lesser MP resolution camera.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, the LG G Flex 2 is also cheaper than the other phone.
