Comparison review

The LG G2 has an overall score of 73.5, which is slightly better than Alcatel Idol 5S's 67.8 general score. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the LG G2 has older 4.4.2 version while Alcatel Idol 5S has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Even though LG G2 is way older and thicker than Alcatel Idol 5S, it's construction is still a little lighter.

LG G2 has just a bit better hardware performance than Alcatel Idol 5S, because although it has lesser CPU cores and 1 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. LG G2 has a more vivid screen than Alcatel Idol 5S. Both of them have a same size screen, an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080px and the same number of pixels per inch of screen.

Alcatel Idol 5S counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than LG G2. They have the same internal memory capacity. The LG G2 captures clearer photos and videos than Alcatel Idol 5S, because although it has a tinier camera sensor taking lower quality photos and videos and a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the LG G2 also counts with a more megapixels camera and faster 60 frames per second video frame rates.

The LG G2 has a battery life that's very similar to the Alcatel Idol 5S one, although the LG G2 has a 0 percent smaller battery size.

LG G2 is not only the best phones of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also cheaper than the other phone, making it a simple decision.
