The LG G3 is better than the Alcatel Idol 5S, having a 76.4 score against 67.8. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but LG G3 has the previous 5.0 version while Alcatel Idol 5S has Android 7.1 Nougat version.
LG G3 counts with a much better screen than Alcatel Idol 5S, because it has a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a higher pixel quantity in each inch of display and a quite bigger screen. Alcatel Idol 5S has a much better storage capacity to store more games and applications than LG G3, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Alcatel Idol 5S also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB.
LG G3 has a bit more powerful CPU than Alcatel Idol 5S, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster), and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the LG G3 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The LG G3 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Alcatel Idol 5S, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light photos and videos and a tinier sensor, it also counts with a better resolution back facing camera and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
LG G3 counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Alcatel Idol 5S, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2620mAh.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, the LG G3 is also cheaper.
