The Galaxy S III is way better than the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2, having a score of 74.8 against 54.8. Even being the best in this review, the Galaxy S III is an older, somewhat thicker and a little bit heavier phone than Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2. These devices come with Android operating system, but Galaxy S III has a more recent 4.3 version and Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 has Android 4.2 version, so it provides a lot of extra features and improved performance.
The Samsung Galaxy S III features a better looking screen than Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen and a higher resolution of 1280 x 720px. The Samsung Galaxy S III features a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB and 32 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy S III has a little better hardware performance than Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Galaxy S III also has a higher amount of RAM memory and an extra GPU. Galaxy S III counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2, because it has 2100mAh of battery capacity instead of 2000mAh.
