The HTC Desire 500 is just a bit better than the Alcatel OneTouch Idol Mini, with a score of 57.1 against 52. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the HTC Desire 500 has an older 4.1.2 version while Alcatel OneTouch Idol Mini has Android 4.2. Despite being the best in this comparison review, HTC Desire 500 is a much heavier and way thicker phone than the Alcatel OneTouch Idol Mini.
