The Galaxy S III has a score of 69.7, which is slightly better than the Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+'s score of 66.1. Although it's the best phone we are comparing, it must be told that it's also older, just a bit heavier and a little bit thicker. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Galaxy S III has older 4.3 version and Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ has Android 4.4.4 version.
Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy S III, because although it has a worse 700 megahertz graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and a higher number of cores. Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy S III, because it has a higher screen density, a little bit larger screen and a way higher resolution of 1920 x 1080.
The Galaxy S III has a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+, because although it has just 16 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 64 GB. The Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ has a bit better camera than Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ also has a lot higher 13.1 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a lot larger aperture for better captures and videos in poorly lited environments.
