Motorola PHOTON 4G has a general score of 57.5, which is just a bit better than the Alcatel OneTouch Star's 52.5 general score. Both devices we compare here use Android operating system, but Motorola PHOTON 4G has an older 2.3 version and Alcatel OneTouch Star has Android 4.1 version. Despite being the best phone in this comparison review, the Motorola PHOTON 4G is a way thicker and much heavier phone than the Alcatel OneTouch Star.
Alcatel OneTouch Star has a little bit better looking display than Motorola PHOTON 4G, although it has a quite lower amount of pixels per inch in the screen, a little bit smaller screen and a little bit lower 800 x 480 resolution. Motorola PHOTON 4G features a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Alcatel OneTouch Star, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the Motorola PHOTON 4G also has more internal memory.
The Alcatel OneTouch Star counts with just a little better processing power than Motorola PHOTON 4G, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Alcatel OneTouch Star also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Motorola PHOTON 4G has a little bit better camera than Alcatel OneTouch Star, because it has a much better 1920x1080 video resolution and a back-facing camera with much more MP.
The Motorola PHOTON 4G has a bit superior battery life than Alcatel OneTouch Star, because it has 1700mAh of battery capacity against 1500mAh.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, Motorola PHOTON 4G is also very cheap compared to the other ones, making it a great choice.
