LG Escape Plus is slightly better than Alcatel ONYX, getting a 66.6 score against 64.2. Although LG Escape Plus and Alcatel ONYX were only released with a couple of months difference, the LG Escape Plus body is a lot lighter but also a little bit thicker. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the LG Escape Plus has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Alcatel ONYX has Android 8.1 Oreo version, so it gives some extra features and improved performance.
Alcatel ONYX has a bit more powerful processing unit than LG Escape Plus. Both have a 2 GB RAM memory and 4 cpu cores. LG Escape Plus and Alcatel ONYX have quite similar screens, they have the same number of pixels per screen inch, an equal resolution of 720 x 1440px and a display with the same size.
Alcatel ONYX counts with a greater memory capacity for applications and games than LG Escape Plus, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the Alcatel ONYX also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 128 GB. The LG Escape Plus and Alcatel ONYX have similar battery durations.
The Alcatel ONYX takes clearer photos and videos than LG Escape Plus, and although they both have a same size aperture, a same size back-facing camera sensor, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Alcatel ONYX also has a camera with a lot better resolution.
LG Escape Plus and the Alcatel ONYX cost the same, making this phone an easy choice.
