The Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max has a general score of 85.3, which is a little bit better than the HTC One M9's global score of 77.7. The Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max comes with iOS 15.x OS, while HTC One M9 comes with Android 5.0 OS. Even though the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max is noticeably heavier than HTC One M9, it's somewhat thinner and also noticeably newer.
IPhone 11 Pro Max features just a little better processing power than HTC One M9, because although it has lesser cpu cores and doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have a 64 bits CPU, the iPhone 11 Pro Max also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory. HTC One M9 features just a bit better looking display than Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max, although it has a lot smaller screen, a much lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen.
The Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max has just a bit better camera than HTC One M9, because although it has a camera with a much lower resolution, a lower (4K) video resolution and a smaller camera sensor giving a lower image quality, it also counts with a larger aperture. The HTC One M9 counts with just a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than iPhone 11 Pro Max, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max features a much longer battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 3969mAh battery capacity instead of 2840mAh.
Although iPhone 11 Pro Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One M9. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the iPhone 11 Pro Max, otherwise you can save some money and buy the HTC One M9, letting go some specs and features.
