IPhone 11 Pro Max has an overall score of 85.3, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A31's global score of 81.3. The iPhone 11 Pro Max works with iOS 15.x operating system, while Samsung Galaxy A31 works with Android 10 operating system. Although the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy A31 were only released with a couple months difference, the iPhone 11 Pro Max construction is a bit thinner but also heavier than the Samsung Galaxy A31.
IPhone 11 Pro Max has a better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has lesser cores (although faster), and they both have the same RAM amount, the iPhone 11 Pro Max also counts with a 64 bits processor. The iPhone 11 Pro Max features a much better display than Galaxy A31, because it has a little more pixels per inch of display, a bit higher 1242 x 2688 resolution and a little larger screen.
Samsung Galaxy A31 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than iPhone 11 Pro Max, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A31 features a little bit better camera than iPhone 11 Pro Max, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture and slower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also counts with a much larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.
The Galaxy A31 has improved battery life than iPhone 11 Pro Max, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
