IPhone 11 Pro Max has a global score of 85.3, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S4's global score of 79. Even though the iPhone 11 Pro Max is noticeably newer than Samsung Galaxy S4, it is a little bit thicker and extremely heavier. IPhone 11 Pro Max has iOS 15.x OS, and Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with Android 4.4 OS.
Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max has a better performing processing unit than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU, a higher number of cores and more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy S4 features a screen that is just as good as iPhone 11 Pro Max's screen, although the Samsung Galaxy S4 has a way smaller display, a much lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little bit worse pixels density.
Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max counts with a superior camera than Galaxy S4, because although it has a camera with a lower 12 megapixels resolution, it also counts with a much better (4K) video definition, a larger back camera sensor which gives a higher image and video quality and a larger diafragm aperture.
Galaxy S4 has a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy S4 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 64 GB. The iPhone 11 Pro Max features a really longer battery duration than Galaxy S4, because it has a 3969mAh battery capacity against 2600mAh.
Although iPhone 11 Pro Max is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S4. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy S4, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
