The iPhone 11 Pro Max has a general score of 85.3, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active's 81.9 overall score. IPhone 11 Pro Max is a a lot newer and somewhat thinner phone than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, although it's a little heavier. The iPhone 11 Pro Max has just a bit better display than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a just a little lower display density and a quite lower resolution of 1242 x 2688px, it also counts with a quite bigger screen.
Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max counts with a greater hardware performance than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has 2 less processing cores , and they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max also counts with a 64-bits processing unit. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
Galaxy S8 Active and iPhone 11 Pro Max have similar batteries performance, although the Galaxy S8 Active also has a 1 percent larger battery capacity. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the iPhone 11 Pro Max, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, resigning some features and specs.
