The iPhone 12 mini has a general score of 88.5, which is slightly better than LG G8 ThinQ's 84.3 overall score. IPhone 12 mini is a newer cellphone, and it's also somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than LG G8 ThinQ. The iPhone 12 mini counts with iOS 14.x operating system, and LG G8 ThinQ comes with Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
IPhone 12 mini and LG G8 ThinQ have extremely similar screens, because although the LG G8 ThinQ has much less brightness, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution, a quite larger screen and a just a little greater screen density. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Apple iPhone 12 mini, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The iPhone 12 mini features a faster processing unit than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster) and less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processor. LG G8 ThinQ features a superior battery performance than Apple iPhone 12 mini, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.
LG G8 ThinQ takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Apple iPhone 12 mini, and although they both have a 12 mega pixels back camera, the same video resolution and the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a bigger aperture.
Although Apple iPhone 12 mini is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G8 ThinQ. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get LG G8 ThinQ, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
