IPhone 12 mini is a little bit better than LG V40 ThinQ, getting a global score of 88.5 against 81.2. IPhone 12 mini is a a lot newer cellphone, and it's also a little bit thinner and way lighter than the LG V40 ThinQ. IPhone 12 mini works with iOS 14.x OS, and LG V40 ThinQ comes with Android 10 OS.
The iPhone 12 mini features just a bit better screen than LG V40 ThinQ, although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a just a bit inferior pixels count per inch in the display and a quite smaller screen. The LG V40 ThinQ features a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPhone 12 mini, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
IPhone 12 mini counts with a better performing CPU than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has 2 less CPU cores (although faster) and 2 GB less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processor. The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a very superior battery lifetime than iPhone 12 mini, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.
The LG V40 ThinQ shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than iPhone 12 mini, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photos in poorly lited situations.
Although iPhone 12 mini is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V40 ThinQ. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get LG V40 ThinQ, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
