Comparison review
The iPhone 12 mini is just a bit better than the Galaxy S8, having a score of 88.5 against 81.7. The iPhone 12 mini body is extremely newer, somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner than Galaxy S8. The iPhone 12 mini counts with a better performing CPU than Galaxy S8, because although it has a lower number of cores , and they both have 4 GB of RAM, the iPhone 12 mini also counts with a 64 bits CPU.
IPhone 12 mini features a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy S8, although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2340, a bit smaller screen and a little worse pixels amount per display inch. IPhone 12 mini shoots clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a 12 mega pixels back-facing camera, the iPhone 12 mini also has higher video frame rate and a larger aperture for better low light photos.
The Galaxy S8 counts with a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than iPhone 12 mini, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S8 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S8 has improved battery duration than iPhone 12 mini, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2227mAh.
Although Apple iPhone 12 mini is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone 12 mini, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S8, giving up some specs and features.
