Comparison review
The Apple iPhone 12 mini is just a bit better than the Galaxy S8 Active, with an 88.5 score against 81.9. Apple iPhone 12 mini's body is much newer, lighter and way thinner than Galaxy S8 Active. Apple iPhone 12 mini has a superior performance than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), and they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Apple iPhone 12 mini also counts with a 64-bits processor.
IPhone 12 mini has a little more vivid display than Galaxy S8 Active, although it has a quite smaller display, a lot lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a just a little worse pixels count per screen inch. IPhone 12 mini shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have a 12 megapixels resolution camera in the back and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the iPhone 12 mini also has better video frame rate and a bigger camera aperture to take better low-light images.
Galaxy S8 Active features a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Apple iPhone 12 mini, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a superior battery life than iPhone 12 mini, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone 12 mini is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
