IPhone 12 mini is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, with a score of 88.5 against 81.1. IPhone 12 mini has iOS 14.x OS, while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with Android 10 OS. Although iPhone 12 mini and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro were only released 6 months apart, iPhone 12 mini is a lot lighter and somewhat thinner.
The Apple iPhone 12 mini features a better performing processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has 2 lesser cpu cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU. The iPhone 12 mini counts with a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little bit worse 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a very superior camera than iPhone 12 mini, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for taking images in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a lot more MP back camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a much better memory capacity for games and applications than iPhone 12 mini, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a much better battery performance than Apple iPhone 12 mini, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
Although iPhone 12 mini is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. So if you need that extra features, you can buy iPhone 12 mini, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, resigning a couple specs and features.
