IPhone 12 Pro Max has an overall score of 93.2, which is just a bit better than iPhone 8 Plus's 87.1 global score. The iPhone 12 Pro Max construction is incredibly newer and just a little bit thinner than the iPhone 8 Plus's, although it is heavier. The iPhone 12 Pro Max counts with a little more vivid display than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a higher 1284 x 2778 pixels resolution, a bit better screen pixel density, a lot brighter screen and a bigger display.
IPhone 8 Plus has a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, because it has 128 GB more internal storage. IPhone 12 Pro Max has just a bit better hardware performance than iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have a 64-bit processor and 6 cores, the iPhone 12 Pro Max also has 3 GB more RAM memory.
The Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max features a much longer battery duration than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 3687mAh of battery capacity instead of 2691mAh. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus shoots a bit better pictures and videos than iPhone 12 Pro Max, although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs and/or video in poorly lited situations, they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 60 fps video frame rate.
Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max costs more money than iPhone 8 Plus, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
