Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max has a score of 93.2, which is a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 3's 86.3 global score. Although Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max and Asus ROG Phone 3 were only released 4 months apart, Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max is a lot thinner and a little lighter. IPhone 12 Pro Max has a bit more powerful processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 3, because although it has 2 lesser cpu cores (although they are faster) and 6 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max has a bit more vivid display than Asus ROG Phone 3, because it has a little brighter display, a quite greater pixel density, a better resolution of 1284 x 2778px and a little larger screen. Asus ROG Phone 3 captures a lot better videos and photos than iPhone 12 Pro Max, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing pictures and video in low-light environments, it also counts with a much better video quality and a back facing camera with a lot better resolution.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max and the Asus ROG Phone 3 have incredibly similar memory capacity for games and applications, both of them have the same internal memory. Asus ROG Phone 3 has a way better battery lifetime than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 3687mAh.
