Galaxy S20 has a global score of 94.8, which is a little bit better than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max's score of 93.2. Galaxy S20 comes with Android 13 OS, and Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max has iOS 15.x OS. The Galaxy S20 construction is extremely lighter but just a little thicker than the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, and they were only released with a couple months difference.

IPhone 12 Pro Max has a bit better CPU than Galaxy S20, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU. The Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max counts with a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S20, because although it has a bit worse 1284 x 2778px resolution and a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bit bigger screen.

Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than iPhone 12 Pro Max, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has a SD extension slot that allows up to 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with just a bit better battery life than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, because it has an 8% bigger battery capacity.

The Galaxy S20 has a bit better camera than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the Galaxy S20 also counts with a way higher video quality.

Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy S20 is also cheaper than the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, which makes it a simple decision.
