Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max is way better than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, getting a 93.2 score against 75.8. Although Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max is somewhat heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, it's much thinner and also newer. The iPhone 12 Pro Max has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1284 x 2778 and a quite lower pixels density, it also counts with a lot larger display and much more brightness.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max features a better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max features a better hardware performance than Galaxy S7 Active, because it has more RAM, more processing cores and a 64 bits processor.
Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max takes a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a 12 MP back facing camera, the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max also has a larger aperture and better 60 fps video frame rate.
