The iPhone 12 Pro Max has a score of 93.2, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active's 81.9 overall score. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is a way newer and much thinner cellphone than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, but it's also just a bit heavier. Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max has a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with a 64-bit CPU and a larger amount of RAM memory.
IPhone 12 Pro Max counts with just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a bit lower pixel quantity per inch in the screen and a bit worse 1284 x 2778px resolution, it also counts with a bigger screen. Galaxy S8 Active features a bit bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 256 GB.
The Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max captures just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have the same video resolution and a 12 MP back camera, the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max also has a bigger aperture and higher video frame rate.
