The iPhone 12 Pro is better than the Huawei P20 Pro, having a 92.8 score against 81.4. The iPhone 12 Pro has iOS 15.x operating system, while Huawei P20 Pro has Android 10 operating system. The iPhone 12 Pro is a notably newer and just a little thinner phone than the Huawei P20 Pro, although it is also just a bit heavier.
IPhone 12 Pro counts with a faster processing unit than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has 2 lesser cores (although faster), and they both have a 6 GB RAM, the iPhone 12 Pro also counts with a 64-bits processor. Huawei P20 Pro's storage capacity to store more apps and games is very similar to the iPhone 12 Pro one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. The Huawei P20 Pro features a superior battery performance than iPhone 12 Pro, because it has a 42% greater battery capacity. Huawei P20 Pro takes better photos and videos than iPhone 12 Pro, because although it has slower video frame rates and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for capturing images or videos in low light environments, and they both have the same video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels.
Although iPhone 12 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P20 Pro. So if you need that extra features, you can buy iPhone 12 Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P20 Pro, giving up a couple features and specs.
