Apple iPhone 12 Pro has a global score of 92.8, which is better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's global score of 77.5. The Apple iPhone 12 Pro construction is noticeably newer, lighter and a little thinner than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. IPhone 12 Pro has a quite superior performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and a larger amount of RAM memory.
The iPhone 12 Pro features an incredibly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1170 x 2532px resolution and a greater pixels density. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than Apple iPhone 12 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much longer battery lifetime than iPhone 12 Pro, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity against 2815mAh. Apple iPhone 12 Pro counts with just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same resolution back camera, the Apple iPhone 12 Pro also has faster 60 fps video frame rate and a way larger diafragm aperture to take better low light photography.
Although iPhone 12 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
