Comparison review
Apple iPhone 12 is much better than HTC One M9, getting an 88.7 score against 77.7. The Apple iPhone 12 construction is a lot newer and way thinner, but a bit heavier than the HTC One M9. Apple iPhone 12 works with iOS 15.x OS, and HTC One M9 counts with Android 5.0 OS. IPhone 12 has a bit more powerful processing unit than HTC One M9, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor and an inferior number of cores (although faster), and they both have a 64-bit processing unit, the iPhone 12 also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Apple iPhone 12 counts with a bit better display than HTC One M9, because it has a higher 1170 x 2532 resolution, a bigger display and a bit more pixels per display inch. The HTC One M9 captures a bit better pictures and videos than iPhone 12, because although it has a much smaller camera aperture which is worse for low light captures and videos and lower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the HTC One M9 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot higher 20 megapixels resolution.
The HTC One M9 features a slightly bigger memory capacity for apps and games than iPhone 12, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits up to 128 GB. HTC One M9's battery duration is very similar to the iPhone 12 one, although the HTC One M9 also has a 1% greater battery size.
Although iPhone 12 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as HTC One M9. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the iPhone 12, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the HTC One M9, letting go a couple features and specifications.
