Comparison review
Apple iPhone 12 is a little bit better than Galaxy Note8, with an 88.7 score against 83. Apple iPhone 12's design is notably newer, somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Galaxy Note8. Apple iPhone 12 counts with iOS 15.x OS, and Galaxy Note8 counts with Android 9.0 Pie OS. The iPhone 12 has a superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processor.
The iPhone 12 has a slightly better screen than Galaxy Note8, although it has a little lower 1170 x 2532 resolution, a just a little worse screen pixel density and a bit smaller screen. Galaxy Note8 counts with much more memory to install games and applications than iPhone 12, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note8 also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 256 GB.
Galaxy Note8 features greater battery duration than iPhone 12, because it has a 3300mAh battery size against 2815mAh. IPhone 12 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have a 12 MP resolution back camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the iPhone 12 also has a larger camera aperture to capture better photography and video in poorly lited environments and higher 60 fps video frame rate.
Although Apple iPhone 12 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Note8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone 12, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note8, letting go some features and specs.
