IPhone 12 has an overall score of 88.7, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy S4's 79 global score. The iPhone 12 body is notably newer and a bit thinner, but also noticeably heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S4. The iPhone 12 comes with iOS 15.x OS, while Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with Android 4.4 OS.
IPhone 12 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy S4, because it has a larger display, a just a bit higher pixels quantity per display inch and a higher 1170 x 2532 pixels resolution. The Galaxy S4 has a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Apple iPhone 12, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy S4 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 64 GB.
Apple iPhone 12 has a superior hardware performance than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a 64 bits processor, a higher amount of RAM and a greater number of cores (and also faster). Apple iPhone 12 has a bit superior battery life than Galaxy S4, because it has an 8% bigger battery capacity.
The iPhone 12 captures better videos and photos than Galaxy S4, because although it has a back facing camera with a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a way bigger camera aperture for better captures and videos in poorly lited situations and a way higher (4K) video definition.
Although iPhone 12 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S4.
