Apple iPhone 12 is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S6, with a score of 88.7 against 87.4. Apple iPhone 12 counts with iOS 15.x operating system, and Samsung Galaxy S6 has Android 5.0 operating system. The Apple iPhone 12 construction is incredibly newer than the Samsung Galaxy S6's, although it is just a bit thicker and heavier.
IPhone 12 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S6, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor and an inferior number of cores , and they both have a 64-bits processor, the iPhone 12 also counts with more RAM. The Galaxy S6 features a bit better looking display than Apple iPhone 12, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen.
Apple iPhone 12 and Samsung Galaxy S6 both have extremely similar cameras, because although the Samsung Galaxy S6 has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light captures and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, it also counts with a camera in the back with a lot better 16 MP resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a much greater storage for apps and games than iPhone 12, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Apple iPhone 12 counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S6, because it has a 2815mAh battery size instead of 2550mAh.
Although iPhone 12 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S6. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the iPhone 12, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S6, giving up some specs and features.
