Comparison review

The iPhone 12 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S8, getting an 88.7 score against 81.7. Even though iPhone 12 is just a little bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy S8, it's a little thinner and noticeably newer. The iPhone 12 features a little bit better display than Galaxy S8, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1170 x 2532px and a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a quite larger display.

Galaxy S8 has a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Apple iPhone 12, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy S8 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. IPhone 12 features a quite better performance than Galaxy S8, because although it has 2 less processing cores (although they are faster), and they both have the same RAM amount, the iPhone 12 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit.

Samsung Galaxy S8 has just a little better battery life than iPhone 12, because it has a 7 percent bigger battery size. The Apple iPhone 12 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S8, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 12 MP and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Apple iPhone 12 also has a bigger aperture and faster 60 fps video frame rate.

Although Apple iPhone 12 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone 12, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy S8, letting go a couple specs and features.
