IPhone 12 has an overall score of 88.7, which is better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's overall score of 77.5. The iPhone 12 body is newer, extremely lighter and just a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. The Apple iPhone 12 counts with a way better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1170 x 2532px and a higher pixels density.
The iPhone 12 has a better performing CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster), and they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the iPhone 12 also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. The iPhone 12 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a 12 mega pixels back-facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the iPhone 12 also has faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a much larger diafragm aperture.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPhone 12, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 128 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a way better battery life than iPhone 12, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity instead of 2815mAh.
Although iPhone 12 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
