The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max is a little bit better than the Huawei P40, with a general score of 93.2 against 86.4. The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max works with iOS 15.x OS, while Huawei P40 counts with Android 10 OS. The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max is a newer and a bit thinner device than the Huawei P40, but it is a lot heavier.
The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max features a better performing processing unit than Huawei P40, because although it has less cpu cores , and they both have 6 GB of RAM memory, the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max also counts with a 64-bits processing unit. The iPhone 13 Pro Max has a bit better looking display than Huawei P40, because it has a quite larger display, a higher 1284 x 2778 resolution and a little bit greater pixels density.
The Huawei P40 captures much better photos and videos than iPhone 13 Pro Max, because although it has a way tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing images or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 also counts with a way better 50 MP resolution camera in the back.
The Huawei P40 has as much storage capacity for apps and games as the iPhone 13 Pro Max one, both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity. The iPhone 13 Pro Max features a bit better battery life than Huawei P40, because it has a 15% more battery size.
Although iPhone 13 Pro Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P40. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Huawei P40, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
