Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max is better than Huawei P40 Lite, with a general score of 93.2 against 79.5. Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max's body is newer and thinner, but also way heavier than Huawei P40 Lite. The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max works with iOS 15.x operating system, while Huawei P40 Lite works with Android 10 operating system.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max has a quite superior performance than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster), and they both have 6 GB of RAM, the iPhone 13 Pro Max also counts with a 64-bit processor. IPhone 13 Pro Max counts with a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a bit larger display, a better 1284 x 2778 resolution and a little greater pixels density.
The Huawei P40 Lite's memory for apps and games is just as good as the iPhone 13 Pro Max one, they have the same internal memory. Huawei P40 Lite captures clearer videos and photos than iPhone 13 Pro Max, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a lot higher resolution camera.
Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 4% bigger battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P40 Lite. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P40 Lite, letting go a couple specifications.
