IPhone 13 Pro Max has an overall score of 93.2, which is better than the Galaxy Note 4's overall score of 81.6. IPhone 13 Pro Max comes with iOS 15.x operating system, and Galaxy Note 4 counts with Android 5.0 operating system. The iPhone 13 Pro Max design is newer and just a bit thinner, but much heavier than Galaxy Note 4.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater pixel number per inch in the screen and a little higher resolution of 2560 x 1440. IPhone 13 Pro Max features much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note 4, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
IPhone 13 Pro Max counts with a quite superior performance than Galaxy Note 4, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with 2 more CPU cores, 3 GB more RAM memory and a 64-bit CPU. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with a camera that's very similar to the camera in iPhone 13 Pro Max, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a lot smaller aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and video and lower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, it also counts with a lot more mega pixels camera in the back.
The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 35 percent larger battery capacity.
Although iPhone 13 Pro Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Note 4. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy iPhone 13 Pro Max, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Note 4, resigning a couple features and specs.
