IPhone 13 Pro Max has a global score of 93.2, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S20 FE's global score of 90.8. IPhone 13 Pro Max has iOS 15.x operating system, while Galaxy S20 FE works with Android 11 operating system. The iPhone 13 Pro Max body is newer and just a little bit thinner than Galaxy S20 FE's, but it's heavier.
IPhone 13 Pro Max features a superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, because although it has lesser CPU cores , and they both have a 6 GB RAM, the iPhone 13 Pro Max also counts with a 64-bit processing unit. Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max has a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, because it has a just a bit better number of pixels in each screen inch, a quite better resolution of 1284 x 2778 pixels and a little bit bigger display.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has just a bit better camera than iPhone 13 Pro Max, although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low-light photography, they both have a camera in the back with a 12 mega pixels, the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has just a little better battery life than iPhone 13 Pro Max, because it has a 3 percent larger battery size.
Although iPhone 13 Pro Max is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the iPhone 13 Pro Max, else you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, resigning some features and specs.
