The iPhone 13 Pro Max has an overall score of 93.2, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 score. The iPhone 13 Pro Max comes with iOS 15.x OS, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 OS. The iPhone 13 Pro Max construction is newer and somewhat thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's, although it's also somewhat heavier.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max features a faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has 2 less cpu cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a 64 bits CPU and 3 GB more RAM memory. IPhone 13 Pro Max has a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has a bit bigger screen, a better 1284 x 2778 pixels resolution and a just a little higher number of pixels in each inch of display.
Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max counts with just a bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures a bit better pictures and videos than iPhone 13 Pro Max, because although it has worse video frame rate and a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photos and videos, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a much more mega-pixels camera.

Although iPhone 13 Pro Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. If you want to save some money, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
