IPhone 13 Pro Max is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, having a general score of 93.2 against 81.1. Although iPhone 13 Pro Max is heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, it's somewhat thinner and also newer. IPhone 13 Pro Max works with iOS 15.x operating system, while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with Android 10 operating system.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a bit superior battery lifetime than iPhone 13 Pro Max, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.

So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the iPhone 13 Pro Max, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, giving up a couple specs and features.
