The Apple iPhone 14 Plus is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A71, having a 92.2 score against 87.5. The Apple iPhone 14 Plus works with iOS 16.x operating system, and Samsung Galaxy A71 has Android 11 operating system. Apple iPhone 14 Plus's design is way newer, but just a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier than Samsung Galaxy A71.

Galaxy A71 features a lot better camera than Apple iPhone 14 Plus, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and video and slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, the Galaxy A71 also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.
Although iPhone 14 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy A71. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy iPhone 14 Plus, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy A71, giving up a couple specs and features.
