IPhone 14 Pro Max has a general score of 94.9, which is a little bit better than Huawei P40's 86.4 general score. IPhone 14 Pro Max counts with iOS 16.x OS, and Huawei P40 comes with Android 10 OS. IPhone 14 Pro Max's design is extremely newer and a bit thinner than Huawei P40's, but it is notably heavier.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max counts with a better performance than Huawei P40, because although it has 2 lesser cpu cores (although faster), and they both have 6 GB of RAM memory, the iPhone 14 Pro Max also counts with a 64 bits processor. Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max has a little bit better looking display than Huawei P40, because it has a just a little greater screen pixel density, a better 1290 x 2796 resolution and a little larger screen.
IPhone 14 Pro Max and Huawei P40 have incredibly similar memory capacity to install games and applications, they have exactly the same internal memory. Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max has a bit superior battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has a 4323mAh battery capacity. The Huawei P40 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P40 also counts with a higher 50 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
Although Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P40. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P40, resigning some specifications.
