The iPhone 14 Pro Max has a global score of 94.9, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's 81.1 general score. Although the iPhone 14 Pro Max is heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, it's thinner and also much newer. IPhone 14 Pro Max comes with iOS 16.x OS, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10 OS.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a display with the same size, the iPhone 14 Pro Max also has a just a little better pixels density and a quite better 1290 x 2796 pixels resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features more memory capacity for games and applications than iPhone 14 Pro Max, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max counts with a faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has an inferior number of cores (but faster), and they both have the same RAM amount, the iPhone 14 Pro Max also counts with a 64-bits processor. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a little better battery lifetime than Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max, because it has a 16 percent bigger battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has just a bit better camera than Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures in low light environments and slower video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a back camera with a much higher 64 mega-pixels resolution.
Although iPhone 14 Pro Max is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
