The Sony Xperia E has an overall score of 51.5, which is a little bit better than iPhone's overall score of 46.8. Sony Xperia E works with Android 4.1 operating system, and iPhone works with iOS 3.x operating system. Sony Xperia E's construction is newer, lighter and just a little bit thinner than iPhone.

Apple iPhone has a bit sharper display than Sony Xperia E. Both of them have the same quantity of pixels in each display inch, the same exact resolution of 480 x 320 pixels and a display of the same size. Xperia E features a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than iPhone, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia E also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 32 GB.

The Xperia E features a quite superior hardware performance than iPhone, and although they both have a Single-Core CPU, the Xperia E also has 384 MB more RAM memory and a graphics processor. Xperia E captures a little bit better photographs and videos than iPhone, because it has a lot better 3.2 megapixels resolution camera in the back.

The Sony Xperia E has a little better battery life than iPhone, because it has a 1500mAh battery size instead of 1400mAh.
