Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a little bit better than iPhone 5, getting a 78.7 score against 71.7. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's design has the same thickness than the iPhone 5, but it is heavier. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro comes with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, and iPhone 5 counts with iOS 7.x operating system. Apple iPhone 5 features a little sharper display than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, although it has a way worse 1136 x 640 resolution, a much smaller display and a lot lesser pixels per display inch.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a more powerful processor than Apple iPhone 5, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Apple iPhone 5, letting go some specs and features.
