Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a bit better than iPhone 5, having a 76.3 score against 71.7. Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 operating system, and iPhone 5 works with iOS 7.x operating system. Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a somewhat thinner but a little bit heavier cellphone than the iPhone 5. IPhone 5 features a little bit better screen than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has a bit smaller display and a quite lower 1136 x 640px resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a superior processing power than Apple iPhone 5, because it has an extra GPU, a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. Apple iPhone 5 features a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 64 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Alpha features better battery life than iPhone 5, because it has 1860mAh of battery capacity. Galaxy Alpha takes much clearer photographs and videos than Apple iPhone 5, because it has a way higher 12 mega pixels resolution back facing camera, a lot better (4K) video resolution and a larger aperture.
Although Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the iPhone 5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the iPhone 5. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Alpha, else you can save a couple dollars and get the iPhone 5, letting go a couple specs and features.
