Xiaomi Mi 6 has a general score of 76.5, which is a little bit better than Apple iPhone 5's 71.7 overall score. The Xiaomi Mi 6 construction is much newer and just a bit thinner than Apple iPhone 5's, but it is also heavier. The Xiaomi Mi 6 has a superior processing power than iPhone 5, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of cores.
IPhone 5 features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi 6, although it has a little inferior quantity of pixels per display inch, a much lower resolution of 1136 x 640, a lot smaller display and less brightness. Xiaomi Mi 6 captures better pictures and videos than Apple iPhone 5, because it has a bigger back camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos, a way better 12 megapixels resolution back camera, a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a lot larger aperture to take better captures and videos in low-light situations.

Although Xiaomi Mi 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the iPhone 5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as iPhone 5. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy iPhone 5, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
