Galaxy S5 has an overall score of 80.8, which is a bit better than Apple iPhone 6's overall score of 79.2. Even being the best in this comparison, the Galaxy S5 construction is somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker than the Apple iPhone 6. Galaxy S5 comes with Android 4.4.2 OS, while Apple iPhone 6 works with iOS 8.x OS.
The Galaxy S5 has just a bit better looking display than Apple iPhone 6, because it has a much better 1920 x 1080 resolution, a bit larger display and a way better display density. The Apple iPhone 6 features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Galaxy S5 counts with a little better hardware performance than Apple iPhone 6, because although it has a 32-bit processor instead of 64-bits, it also counts with 2 more cpu cores, a faster graphics co-processor and 2 GB more RAM. The Galaxy S5 has a very superior battery performance than iPhone 6, because it has a 55% more battery size.
The Galaxy S5 counts with a superior camera than iPhone 6, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Galaxy S5 also has a larger sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality, a way better resolution back camera and a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the iPhone 6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as iPhone 6. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S5, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the iPhone 6, resigning a couple specs and features.
