Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 is just a bit better than the iPhone 6, with a global score of 82.6 against 79.2. Sony Xperia 1's construction is a lot newer than the iPhone 6's, although it's extremely heavier and somewhat thicker. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a bit better processing unit than Apple iPhone 6, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor and a 32 bits processor instead of 64-bits, it also counts with 6 more processing cores and a greater amount of RAM.
The Xperia 1 has a bit more vivid screen than Apple iPhone 6, because although it has much less brightness, it also counts with a much bigger screen, way more pixels per inch of display and a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with just a bit better camera than Apple iPhone 6, because it has a much larger aperture, a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a bigger back camera sensor capturing better quality videos and pictures and a way higher 12 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
Xperia 1 counts with much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than iPhone 6, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Xperia 1 also has a SD card slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Sony Xperia 1 features a very superior battery duration than iPhone 6, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the iPhone 6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as iPhone 6. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get iPhone 6, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
