The Apple iPhone 6s Plus is just a bit better than the HTC One M9, having an 84.2 score against 77.7. The Apple iPhone 6s Plus comes with iOS 9.x operating system, and HTC One M9 comes with Android 5.0 operating system. Apple iPhone 6s Plus's design is somewhat heavier but thinner than the HTC One M9, and both of them were released only 6 months apart.

HTC One M9 features a little faster processor than Apple iPhone 6s Plus, because although it has a worse GPU running at 600 MHz, and they both have a 64 bits processor, the HTC One M9 also counts with 6 more CPU cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. The iPhone 6s Plus has a bit sharper display than HTC One M9, because although it has a quite lower display density, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the iPhone 6s Plus also counts with a bit bigger display.

The iPhone 6s Plus has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The HTC One M9 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Apple iPhone 6s Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a same size aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the HTC One M9 also has a lot bigger sensor capturing lot better quality videos and photos and a much more MP back-facing camera.

The HTC One M9 counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Apple iPhone 6s Plus, because it has a 2840mAh battery size.

Although iPhone 6s Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC One M9. If you are trying to save some money, you can get HTC One M9, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
