Apple iPhone 6s Plus has a general score of 84.2, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy S6 Active's 80.9 overall score. Apple iPhone 6s Plus works with iOS 9.x OS, and Galaxy S6 Active has Android 5.0 OS. Galaxy S6 Active features a bit better performance than iPhone 6s Plus, and although they both have a 650 MHz graphics co-processor and a 64 bits CPU, the Galaxy S6 Active also has a higher number of cores and more RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a bit better display than iPhone 6s Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 and more pixels per display inch. IPhone 6s Plus features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a tinier camera sensor giving a worse image quality, a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for taking images and/or video in low light situations and a much lower resolution back camera.
The iPhone 6s Plus counts with a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Galaxy S6 Active counts with greater battery duration than iPhone 6s Plus, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2750mAh.
Although iPhone 6s Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S6 Active. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy S6 Active, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your budget.
