Apple iPhone 6s Plus has a global score of 84.2, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's 78.1 overall score. Although Apple iPhone 6s Plus and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge were released only 6 months apart, Apple iPhone 6s Plus's construction is somewhat heavier but just a little bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. Apple iPhone 6s Plus counts with iOS 9.x OS, and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with Android 8.0 Oreo OS.
The Apple iPhone 6s Plus features a little better processing power than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has less and slower cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bit CPU. Apple iPhone 6s Plus has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, although it has a quite worse pixels count in each inch of screen and a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080, they both have a same size screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge takes clearer videos and photos than iPhone 6s Plus, and although they both have a back-facing camera with a 12 megapixels resolution, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video definition, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also has a lot larger aperture to take better low light images and a larger sensor.
IPhone 6s Plus features more memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has longer battery duration than iPhone 6s Plus, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity.
Although iPhone 6s Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S7 edge. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the iPhone 6s Plus, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy S7 edge, giving up some specifications.
