The Apple iPhone 6s has a general score of 83, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S5's 80.8 general score. The Apple iPhone 6s comes with iOS 9.x operating system, and Galaxy S5 works with Android 4.4.2 operating system. The Apple iPhone 6s is a newer phone, and it's also thinner and just a little bit lighter than Galaxy S5.
The Apple iPhone 6s has a little better performance than Galaxy S5, because although it has a lower number of cores and also slower and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and a faster graphics co-processor running at 650 megahertz. The Galaxy S5 has just a bit better screen than iPhone 6s, because it has a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a much greater pixels count per inch in the display and a bit larger display.
Apple iPhone 6s features a very superior memory to install games and applications than Galaxy S5, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory. Samsung Galaxy S5 takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Apple iPhone 6s, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a same size camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a larger back-facing camera sensor and a back camera with a much better resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a really longer battery life than iPhone 6s, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity against 1715mAh.
Although iPhone 6s is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy S5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S5. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Galaxy S5, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
